Join guest teacher Lisa Johnson of Anchors Unlimited Science Fun to explore creating art using sand!  Students will learn the history of traditional sand painting, and will explore various ways of creating art using colored sand in this fun class. Build your own robot Frankenstein-style with teen artist Carsten Vandergaard!  We will use vintage metal scraps, rusty bits and weird found objects to create an awesome, unique robot sculpture that you will take home with you!  Tuition cost is $10/student, students ages 6 to adult are welcome! Lisa will show you how to look at your wardrobe with new eyes, and how to turn ordinary clothes into works of art! Interested in graphic design? Come check out an opportunity to learn more about graphic design and have fun with other community members on April 6th at the new FLY studio on 40 N. Huron Street! This program is a partnership between AIGA of EMU and FLY lead by AIGA graphic design artists, exploring use of graphic design techniques.  Students will leave with one or more poster artworks.  Cost is suggested donation of $5/student, students ages 6 and up.
