Our first Open Studio will be on September 30. We have some new classes this semester: Thursday morning, and two Sunday afternoons a month! Of course we will be at the Senior Center on Friday afternoons as well. Check out the entire line up here.

The lovely and talented Candace Pinaud (far right) interviewed Ruth about the fall line up of classes and events for FLY. It was super fun and easy because Candace is organized and amazing! You can listen to it on the radio at 1290AM at noon on Saturday, or stream it live from their website.

Individual tickets are $60 available at Morgan and York, 1928 Packard, Ann Arbor, MI, 48104 and online at http://www.morganandyork.com/ There will not be tickets at the door- you have to buy them ahead of time. Like right now would be good. Or maybe tomorrow morning, but now would be better.

Sold Out Project at Mini Maker Faire

Our LED lanterns were a big hit at the Faire, we sold out after only three hours! I am already looking forward to next year’s event. My favorite part about this year: Pilar’s Tamales. Wonderful.

This Sunday, May 23 from 2-4 is your golden opportunity to visit the Corner Brewery with your friends and family, have a beer, and make what is commonly agreed upon as the best project ever: A Diorama. In answer to your questions: Yes, there will be fake grass. Yes, there will be glue guns. Yes, the kids are invited too. Yes, the proceeds go towards bringing more art to kids in Ypsi. $10 at the door.
